Tata Tiago Reached at Showrooms Prior to its Launch

Tata Tiago is a newly designed hatchback that was first showcased at the India's largest auto show in Delhi along with a different badge of Zica. After then, the company has also announced its launch date, which is March 28. Despite all this, the car has been spotted at the company's dealership in Delhi and Goa just before its official launch.

As per the reports, a petrol variant in the signature orange color was spotted at the showroom. You might also be aware that the hatch is going to be offered in a diesel trim as well. The specification of the both motors is respectively 1.05-litre, generating 69 Bhp of power and a 1.2-litre, produces 83.5 Bhp of power. Tata has offered only a five-speed manual transmission, while an AMT can be mated with the engine in future.

When launched, the new entry-level car will replace its long-serving hatch model in India, Indica eV2. In addition, it is the first model to bring brand's newly designed philosophy that can be followed by another showcased sibling at 2016 Auto Expo, in future.

As we had already reported that company has started pre-booking of Tiago at a price of INR 11,000, while it would be sold amid the range of INR 4.5 Lakhs to INR 5.5 Lakhs. Some of the exciting features are listed as touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable mirrors, etc. Anyway, the car has enough equipment to compete against likes of the car Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Chevrolet Beat some other entry level hatch vehicle.
