The Renault Duster has one of the biggest market in the world under the SUV car segment. The SUV has the life cycle of the around 7 years, according to the company and as it was launched in the year 2010, the time of launching the 2nd generation duster in 2017 is coming near. The company has also started working on the new duster models and the it's possible that Dacia or Renault may launch the coupe type crossover version of the Duster.
The new Duster will be based on the current design and body of the Duster, which I guess has all the features of being a car of the future with some small adjustments externally and internally. The major part of the redesigned will take place on the grille, taillights and the boot lid. Also, the interiors will get new dashboard, infotainment, extra space, steering mounted control and much more.
However, the engine part of the new duster doesn't have any rumors right now and the possibilities are very strong that it may continue with the same 1,5 Litre K9K and the latest 1.2 Litre TCe engine which are the best in the industry with the automatic transmission and the four-wheel drive system the company is providing these days. However, the design on new Duster 2017 are still in thought and only some prototypes have been manufactured by now, but the promise of Renault to bring the new version in 2017 is the only thing on which we can bank upon.
