Today, Audi launched its next generation TT Coupe in India at INR 60.34 Lac, ex-Showroom, New Delhi. Based on the VW's MQB platform, this sportscar gets a trapezoidal grille with LED headlights, LED taillights, impressive air ducts and rear bumper. Excepting these furnishings, the runabout receives almost same cosmetic features as its predecessor. Apart from adducing a sporty look, this newly updated model also comprises a magnificent interior with a new multifunction flat steering, 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster and Bang & Olufsen music system alongside 12 speakers, 14 channel amplifier and 2 woofers.
Despite of having a 37 mm of increased wheelbase, the roadster losses over 50 kg of weight that makes its more fuel efficient as compared to the previous model. Moreover, the coupe has lengthened length and same height, while its width has been reduced. Receiving power from the same 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine paired to a 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and Audi's Quattro all wheel drive system, the TT 45TFSI is good for 230 bhp and 370 Nm. Audi said that, the vehicle can be accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds ahead of hitting a top speed of 253 km/h.
Its more powerful TTS variant is expected to be introduced in India later, while this version is available internationally along with the power outputs of 295.9 hp. The Company acquaints an oil burner trim of this supercar in the European markets.
