Spotlighting the features, the electric motorbike gets armed with on board navigation. All the information regarding distance recording, routes, and technical report will be saved to a cloud storage. Furthermore, a secure Android and iOS app will maintain full control over the tourer and enable the riders to check the status. They can even control the riding modes that the motorcycle will use over their cell phones. With the availability of three riding modes- eco mode for increased range, power mode for performance, and a custom mode as well in which customers can personalize the power delivery of the motorcycle.
Complying the safety norms, the T6X will make a move in the auto market with AHO (Automatic Headlight on) and ABS as standard thereby maintaining all the future regulations. In order to get a quick charging, it will be charged on a 15amp socket, however, regular charging could require a 5amp socket. The motorcycle gets a running cost of Rs. 20 paisa per kilometer, says Kapil Chandrakant Shelke, Director, Tork Motorcycles Pvt. Ltd. Further, he added, the T6X will run bespoke tyres manufactured by Ceat.
Talking about the production plan of the manufacturer, Tork has aimed at building 10,000 units in its first year followed by an approx. figure of 60,000 units in five subsequent years. Also, the T6X will cost marginally higher owing to the in-house production factor, conveyed Kapil.
