Instead of all arrangement for the official launch of Toyota Innova Crysta on May 3, 2016, a leaked e-brochure has revealed the details of its variants and trims. Moreover, the heavier 2.8-litre engine with its specs has also been confirmed through this brochure. Besides, no further details have come out for its expected 2.0 litre petrol variant.
As you can see in the brochure above, the Crysta will be available with two diesel engine options as well as will be offered in three variants namely, GX, VX, and ZX. The specification of smaller powerhouse includes a 2,393 cc four cylinder unit that generates 149 Bhp of power and 343 Nm of torque.
On the other hand, the larger diesel motor will be powered by a 2,755 cc four cylinder that makes out a maximum power of 172 Bhp and a peak torque of 360 Nm. Both the engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, the deliveries will be started from May 13, 2016. With information available, the carmaker has also commenced the pre-booking of this upcoming model for a token amount of INR 50,000. Those who wish to buy this multi-purpose vehicle can now get ready to burn a hole through your pocket as the wait is over.
