Toyota is the largest automobile manufacturer in the World. A number of demanding and reliable cars are there in its herd. They launched their "India first" cars Etios and Etios Liva in India few years back. These cars were equipped with vigorous engines which were designed to deliver performance with economy and safety. Still, the cars did nothing exciting for the company. Due to few mistakes including cost cutting measures, it proved to be a flop in Indian car market. To get back into the game, company has recently given it a facelift but positive things stayed far away from this car.
Toyota has many cars in international car market. Toyota Yaris is one of the top selling cars among them. Company has cleverly planned to confer Etios Liva with the same treatment with which they have furnished Yaris. The Etios Liva will be getting a Yaris face with some tweaks which could help the car to make good sales. As per the sources, the new Etios will be getting a new cockpit which will replace the unconventional centrally mounted speedometer to a conventional driver front console system. In the images, the car looks more up market and appealing and if treated well, it may challenge the top rankers and sellers of the category. Updated Etios will make its debut in Brazil in 2014 for the first time and later it might come to India in 2015.
