The suspension setup has also been upgraded from KYB to Showa, now it gets fully adjustable 41mm upside down separate function forks at the front and a semi-adjustable mono-shock at the rear. While the braking will continue to come from the same twin 310mm disc anchored to Nissin 2-piston calipers and a single 220mm disc integrated with a Brembo single piston caliper at the front and rear wheel respectively.

Mechanically, the 2017 Street Triple has gone through a major transformation, as the motorcycle will now get propelling power from a larger 765cc, in-line 3-cylinder engine inherited from the Daytona 675R. The new motor is capable of churning out 113 PS of maximum power at 11,250rpm from the mated gearbox transmission.
