The largest British two-wheeler manufacturer, Triumph Motorcycle, is cooking something new and tastier behind the manufacturing facility to lure its followers as the company has revealed new Triumph Bonneville series for the 2016 lineup that includes entry-level 900cc Street Twin, 1200cc T120 and 1200cc Thruxton. Each motorcycle is featured with a different liquid-cooled and parallel-twin motor. All these models have been featured with the different styling and mechanical details that include a new engine, new chassis and new suspension. Moreover, the 2016 lineup of Triumph motorcycles has been developed in well-manner to cater a dynamic riding experience.
The new café racer styled Triumph Thruxton has joined the family of Bonneville that was spotted several times during trial runs. The R variant of Thruxton will be the most expensive motorcycle in the Bonneville range, which is featuring with the higher specifications that include Brembo monobloc brake calipers, Showa big piston forks, Ohlins rear suspension and Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa Tyres. Moreover, the Street Twin is the smallest motorcycle in the Triumph family that has been developed to rule the international two-wheeler market.
The British manufacturer has introduced new motorcycles in the Bonneville range that includes T120, T120 Black and Thruxton. The new T120 Black is very identical to the T120, but is different in styling. In terms of technical specifications, the company has not revealed much more about the motorcycles, excepting the torque. The Street Twin makes a claimed torque of 79.99 Nm at 3200 RPM which is 18 % more than previous Bonneville and Ducati’s Scrambler, whereas the T120 makes a claimed torque of 104.94 Nm at 3,100 RPM, which 54 % more than its predecessor and 9 % more than the Harley-Davidson’s Sportster Forty-Eight.
Thruxton, however, is the more powerful motorcycle in the 2016 lineup that returns 111.99 Nm of torque at 4,950 RPM, which is indeed 62% more than the Norton Café Racer. In addition to the powertrains, the 2016 range of Bonneville is featured with riding modes, Anti-lock Braking System and Traction Control System, which is standard on all these 2016 range.
