As claimed by the bike maker, the new Tiger 800 range will be improved offerings in terms of style, electronic package, ergonomics and power. In addition to this, a new range of colors with sticker job, new badges and detailing will be offered. With an overall sales of more than 68,000 models globally since 2010, the most popular adventure motorcycle in this next generation iteration will boost up Triumph sales. Already a renowned model among the adventure bikes enthusiasts, the 2018 Tiger 800 will help in strengthening its root in the Indian market.

Since 2014, Triumph Motorcycle India has sold over 800 motorcycles in India.
The Tiger moniker is being by Triumph since 80 years. It is one of the oldest adventure bikes from the Triumph Motorcycles.

With a market share of 19 percent share in Indian biking industry, the Triumph ranks second in the premium motorcycle segment in India.

The ongoing Triumph Tiger 800 range starts at an introductory pricing of INR 10.87 lakh for the base XR variant and reaches up to INR 14.37 lakh for the top-spec XCa variant. Expectation suggests the new Tiger 800 range will lie in between INR 12 lakh-16 lakh for the mentioned variants, respectively.
The 2018 Tiger 800 range will be provided with over 200 updates that will sport the motorcycle in cementing its position in the ever growing market of adventure tourers in India.
For now, the top-specs XRt and the XCa variants are not introduced by the Triumph. They could mark presence post-market response and demand of models in India.
