TVS Apache 310 aka Akula which was scheduled to launch in Q3 this year, as revealed earlier via company’s Facebook page. The launch of the same has been delayed and is expected in January 2018 according to test rider who has been captured in the video with other riders. The video credit goes to youtuber, Manoharan who managed to confirm the Akula launch in Jan 2018 from one of the riders.
The much-awaited full fairing bike from TVS house was showcased as a concept model at the last Delhi Auto Expo in 2016. In future it was scheduled to launch by Jan 2017, launch postponed and next timeline revealed sometime in mid-2017, similar to last time, it did not launch, now after the Q3 2017 which was pretty much confirmed as the bike’s introduction has also passed out. So finally post this spied event, the time period which is expected is January 2017.
Powered by a BMW engineered 313cc engine, the Apache 310 is an all-around performance bike on the highway as well as in city conditions. Also, the surfaced different videos also confirming the same as a video is showcasing Akula cruising at the top speed of 175kmph and the other one is showing the maneuvering of the motorcycle in tight city conditions.
Other than this, from the spy images, the bike’s riding posture is clear. As it is designed, it is a comfortable bike for long rides. Altogether, the massive fuel tank with enough knee recess, the footpeg position makes the rider switching the bike into pure sports.

The powering for the bike come from a 313 cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine that is capable of generating 34 hp and 28 Nm with the mated six-speed gearbox. Launch in the price range of INR 1.8 lakh, the Akula 310 will go in competition with the likes of new Bajaj Dominar, KTM Duke 390, Mahindra Mojo and more.
