The very first motorcycle from the joint venture of TVS and BMW is expected to launch on 6 December and go on sale in January 2018. The official name of the bike is TVS Apache RR 310. Before the official launch of the motorcycle, it is spotted testing on the Chennai-Bangalore highway.
The bike is based on the BMW G 310 R street bike with similar mechanics. It obtains an identical rotated head engine along with the exhaust valve set up at a rear motor. The motorcycle is embedded with a 313 cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine just like the BMW G 310 R. The motor is mated to a six-speed transmission and able to churn out a maximum power of 34 bhp and a peak torque of 28 Nm.
It may also get a sincere torque spread in combination with rev range, just similar to remaining bikes of the Apache range. Bajaj Dominar 400 is the rival to TVS Apache 310.

The features of the TVS Apache RR 310 include tall windshield, split seats, a stubby silencer, styling highlights, split seats, muscular fuel tank, and Twin headlamps. It is speculated that the bike will offer Pirelli tyres same as the Apache RTR 200 and optional dual-channel ABS.
The rivals of the bike will be Dominar 400, Mahindra Mojo, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Honda CBR 250R, Benelli 302R and KTM RC 390. The bike will have ergonomic bent more towards sport-touring, which will attract a lot of customers.
