Earlier, it was launched in January 2016, TVS Apache 200 now finally comes with ABS carburetted variant, the price of new Apache 200 ABS starting from Rs 1.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Nearly Rs 15,000 more costly as compared to standard variant of Apache 200. New TVS Apache 200 ABS Carb Variant will be available in two colors: White and Black.
The new ABS variant is equipped with a dual-channel ABS system along with rear wheel lift protection. 200 FI variant had been launched by TVS earlier in November 2017, which is available at a price of 1.07 lakh, ex-showroom.
In terms of braking system, the Apache RTR 200 4V ABS comes with 270mm disc at the front and 240mm disc at the rear of the motorcycle. The new motorcycle have Pirelli setup which comprises Sports Demon on the front and an Angel GT on the rear of the motorcycle and also comes with 6 new plates clutch (ongoing Apache 200 model has 5 plates clutch).
Apache RTR 200 4V ABS is powered by a single cylinder, four valves, air cooled 197.7cc engine. It will be available in two versions: one is a carbureted and another one is a fuel injected. The carburetted version produces a 20.5 PS peak power and 18.1 Nm torque coupled with five-speed transmission duties. Once it will launch in India, it will be third variant offering from TVS after the standard and Fi variants.
