TVS, the 3rd largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the country, is closer to finish the production of Electric TVS Jupiter. As per the latest reports, it is speculated to launch by June 2018.
Although, there is no official consent on the launch date of Jupiter 2018. The report by the Economic Times Auto says that we can expect the bike by mid-2018 and the electric scooter will have a lithium-ion battery which will be enough to travel for 50 km in one time with the fully charged battery.
Previously, the scooter spied with a camouflaged test mule of Electric Scooter, where it was being charged in a complex in Bengaluru. The spied images suggested the TVS Jupiter Electric with front apron integrated blinkers, alloy wheels, a big footboard, and drum brakes setup. The electric scooter is powered by a battery which is rested under seat storage rather like the internal combustion version.

As mentioned above, there is no official news about the electric powered TVS Jupiter launch albeit we can expect more information in 2018, around the Auto Expo.
