TVS Motor Company has launched a new TVS Sport in India at INR 36,880 (Ex. Showroom Delhi). The new updated motorcycle has come up with the improved mileage and some cosmetic updates that include an aluminum grab rail, chrome finishing muffler, an all gear electric start and sporty instrument cluster, which make it more beautiful than existing model. To rival with the competitors in the Indian two-wheeler market, the company has tuned the engine to return a claimed mileage of 95 KMPL “under standard drive cycle conditions”. Moreover, this motorcycle is available in five existing color options – Black, Red, White, Blue and Mercury Grey.

The increased mileage of updated motorcycle has been attributed to TVS Sport’s DuraLife Engine which is claimed to offer the benefit of reduced friction and provides less stress on the engine, leading to more efficient fuel consumption. The motorcycle is power by the 99.7cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 7.5 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 7.5Nm of torque at 5000 RPM. The engine is mated to a four-speed transmission. Thus, chrome plated piston rings and roller cam follower in the DuraLife engine helps to lead less friction.
