TVS is continuously updating the range of scooters in the market including the popular Jupiter, the Wego, and Scooty Zest 110. The company is also planning to discover new generation electric/hybrid scooter which is expected to be showcased at Auto Expo 2018 in February. We can expect the new 125cc scooter to be unveiled at the expo.
TVS which always comes with the conventional ranged scooters, the spied images of scooter are depicting the other story as the new scooter is modified to the moto-scooter styling exercise. The design of new scooter is much famous among the younger college-going throng, like the Honda Dio. it seems like the company is planning to garner the cash on this segment by putting the new attractions like larger and keen body-mounted headlamp and bodywork.
If you have remembered the 2014 Auto Expo where TVS showcased the Graphite concept. The features of the concept were including floor-mounted fuel cap, clip-on handlebar, twin headlamps, and a digital console with sharper appearance. The new TVS scooter borrows the same specifications and designs like the concept model but with some altered down profile.

Although, behind the camouflage, the sharp angular lines were hidden but confirmed by the edgy and muscular exhaust canister. The tail of the scooter gets split grab rails. It is expected that the scooter will get an analog cum digital instrument cluster. The new model has altered the twin headlamp from the concept to take a single and larger clearly visible lens unit.
The scooter will get the LED tail lamps and turn indicators. The floorboard of the scooter is a flat unit with the fuel tank being part of an under seat unit and an exterior fuel filler cap. The 125cc scooter occupies front telescopic forks keeping 12-inch wheels. In the test drive model, the scooter has front drum brake but we can expect a disc brake-furnished version by the launch.

TVS was never showed keen interest to compete directly with Honda Dio, but this can be the answer. As the engine details are not confirmed yet, it is expected that TVS might borrow the 110cc air-cooled single engine from the TVS Jupiter scooter which churns out 7.99PS and 8 Nm of torque. TVS might be planning to put a 125cc engine in new scooter setup but it is still not sure. So, be updated with us to know future updates about the new TVS scooter 125cc model.
