TVS Motor Company has introduced a special Kargil Edition of its popular commuter, the Star City+ in existing lineup. For this, the company is asking for a price sticker of INR 54,399, ex-showroom, Delhi.
As the company claims, the TVS Star City+ ‘Kargil Edition motorcycle with a dual-tone colour scheme of white and green along with unique camouflage graphics is a tribute to our Indian soldiers with steely determination and discipline for protecting our borders day and night.
The first of its kind motorcycle in the Indian market drapes a combination of multi colours including white, green and blue that which represent bodies of Indian defence forces like Navy, Army and Air Force respectively. TVS Motors says the motorcycle demonstrates the indomitable spirit of every Indian.
For your reminisce, the motorcycle only gets updated at the cosmetic front whereas, at the mechanical front, it continues with the identical powertrain powers the standard variant. The 110cc single-cylinder engine did not see any sorts of refinements and churns out the power figure of 8 bhp and 8.7 Nm of peak torque. The motor comes mated to a four-speed gearbox.
