With the introduction of a new dealership, American motorcycle maker UM Motorcycles has commenced its operations in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Located at the GMS Road, opposite Chaudhary Farm house, it’s the first UM dealership in Dehradun and is spread over an area of 2500 sq. ft.
Besides, displaying the two motorcycles of Renegade Range, the Renegade Commando, and the Renegade Sports S, the outlet will also retail UM’s range of motorcycle accessories and apparel. At the same place, the UM owners will also get the facility of spares purchase and service after sale.
Aiming to sell 3000 units in a month, the motorcycle maker will expand its dealership network to a large extent of around 50 dealerships by the end of this year. As counted, the Dehradun showroom is the 15th dealership in the country.
"As Dehradun is swiftly moving towards being a "mini-metropolitan" city which has resulted in a vast number of young entrepreneurs setting base here, it was imperative that we commence our operations in the city as well. This part of the country has excellent highways besides lakes and rivers through forests and hills, making it an ideal playground for cruiser motorcycles. We are confident that we shall get a good response from motorcycle enthusiasts in Dehradun and surrounding areas," said Sunil Singh, Senior Vice President – UM Lohia Two Wheelers Pvt. Ltd.
UM Motorcycles has rooted itself in India, with the support of Lohia Motors that manufactures the UM lineup motorcycles at its production facility in Kashipur, Uttarakhand. Moreover, you can observed a new addition of the Renegade Classic by April month this year.
