Miami-headquartered American motorcycle manufacturer, UM-Motorcycles had entered to the Indian motoring market in early last year. The recent conversation of Indianautosblog with Mr. Rajeev Mishra, Director Operations UM, confirms that the Classic will soon go on sale from May 2017 onwards. And the booking facility will be commenced around a month earlier in April than the scheduled deliveries deadline.

Mechanically, the Renegade series is equipped with the same 279.5 cc single cylinder engine that is liable to generate 25PS of power and 22Nm of torque through a mated six-speed transmission. Though, the Renegade Classic 300 which will be offered with fuel injection(both Renegade Commando and the Sports S are carburetted) is expected to be tuned to generate more power. And the significant changes on the motorcycle will be the BS-IV emission norms compliant engine and the advanced ABS safety feature as optional.

The rest models like Renegade Commando and the Sport S have now priced at Rs. 1.64 lakhs and Rs. 1.57 lakh respectively after revision in prices.
