UM Motorcycles has launched a new Matte Black colour option for its Renegade Commando model available for retail in Indian lineup. Now the buyers will have four choices including three existing colour options.
Initially produced in a single colour option of a matte green, the Renegade Commando later in time gets the inclusion of two glossy colour options like the red and black. In contrast with matte gold engine crankcase, the bikes get all black-treatment across the bike. In terms of power, the similar 279cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine will take care of the propelling duties. Mated to a six-speed gearbox, the mill is rated to churn out the peak power of 25bhp and 21.8Nm of torque. The fuel supply for combustion reached from a fuel-injection system. However, a more affordable carbureted variant is also expected to be rolled out soon.
If the pricing is concerned, the matte black Renegade Commando will continue on sale at the similar asking price of INR 1.82 lakhs. This new colour variant is likely to hit the dealerships across the country by the next week. In its segment, the Renegade Commando sees the competition with the likes of the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X, Bajaj Dominar 400 and the Mahindra Mojo UT300.
