As an announcement made by Mr. Phil Horton, BMW Motorrad UK’s director earlier this year, confirms an adventure tourer, BMW F310 GS is under works. The last week spied images of the upcoming mini adventure tourer, all the way from Europe has consolidated the BMW Director’s statement.
Now once again, a new image of the new BMW adventure tourer is slipped out online, but with accessories. The motorcycle has been captured on two dimensions while shooting a video in Europe. Reported to be showcased at the 2016 EICMA, next month, the new BMW F 310 GS is the third product from the BMW-TVS JV in the queue. The most anticipated naked streetfighter-the BMW G 310R and the fully faired TVS Akula 310 are first two from the JV.

As same as above mentioned two other products, the manufacturing of this new adventure is taking place at the Hosur based TVS manufacturing facility, in India. The TVS’s export data states, a total of around 5 units of this adventure bike has been exported to Europe with the price tag nearer to INR 1.3 lakh.
From the spied image, it is quite obvious that the F 310 GS will retain as much as possible, components from the naked runner G 310 R to keep pricing cost-effective. On the aesthetics end, the upcoming Bimmer is adorned with the features in favor for adventure touring like a long travel suspension system, special off-road tyres, and a design philosophy, influenced from the BMW GS bigger siblings.
As far as powertrain concerned, the motorcycle hosts a retuned 313 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with additional aids suited to this adventure bike. Mated with a six speed manual transmission, the motor churns out 34 bhp and 28 Nm of torque.
It is believed that the BMW GS 310 R will go head to head with the KTM 390 Adventure, which is likely to be in the works.
