Upcoming Kawasaki R2 Supercharged Rendered Via Leaked Patent Images

It’s not been so long, the news was around the corner that Japanese giant, Kawasaki is working on the futuristic supercharged motorcycles. But it was not expected, that early we will be confronted with any of these. Thanks to the leaked patent images, that renders the upcoming Kawasaki R2 Supercharged almost completely undisguised.

If compared to the available high performance supercharged offering, the Kawasaki H2R in the market. The rendered R2 resembles the smaller version of the mentioned elder sibling. On featuring, it will be bolted with the same inline-four engine setup incorporated with the supercharging technology on the trellis frame. Basically, the equipped engine configuration is identical to the hyper sport motorcycle with the 600cc displacement.

Aesthetically, the R2 seems to share body cues from the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R and the Ninja H2R, but with modifications. In the altered components, the noteworthy bits are the relocated exhaust under the tail for a sleeker appearance. The elongated fuel tank to make space for the supercharger and the air intake ducts for better respiration at the front fairing. Probably, it will be launched in the early next year.
