Visit Kawasaki Showrooms to preview Kawasaki's upcoming ER-6N

Starting from the month of July, the Kawasaki has decided to display its upcoming ER-6N, prior to its launch. The bike will be previewed at the dealership stores in New Delhi, the capital city and Pune. In the beginning of July, the fans can take a closer look to this bike and can give their feedback as well. The company intended to get to know the customer's response for this upcoming bike. ER-6N is a naked street bike version of all time famous Kawasaki Ninja 650, a sport-tourer bike. Kawasaki Ninja 650 has been on sale in India since 2012.

According to a report, Kawasaki, the Japanese two-wheeler giant, has recently brought down a unit for homologation and testing and testing of ER-6N. The street naked bike will get launched by the end of 2014. ER-6N is featuring similar looks with Kawasaki Ninja 650 that can be seen with its fuel tank, exhaust pipe section, fenders and seat. And if we’ll talk about the differences, you will find a chubby headlight, extended fuel tank and an exposed radiator. The riding posture on this bike is designed in a different manner to give the rider a dynamic street bike look.

The Kawasaki ER-6N is powered by a liquid-cooled, parallel-Twin engine, which gives an engine displacement of 649cc. The motor generates the power of 72BHP @ 8,500RPM and a maximum torque of 64Nm @ 7,000RPM. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed transmission box, which transmits the power to the rear wheel. The braking system of ER-6N has been taken care by dual semi-floating petal disc brakes at front and single at the rear.

Now, comes the pricing section, the price of the bike has not yet revealed by the company. The bike's CKD kits will be imported from Kawasaki's Thailand facility. It is expected that the bike will be priced at a cheaper cost that the Kawasaki Ninja 650.
