KTM 790 Duke Started Reaching Dealerships
KTM 790 Duke, which is one of the much-awaited products from the house of Austrian KTM bike maker in India, has started reaching dealerships. Design inspired by the flagship 1290 Super Duke, the motorcycle is expected to launch soon in the market. As many of its dealers across the country have started accepting bookings at the token amount ranging from INR 20,000 to INR 50,000. Powering for the 790 Duke comes from a 799cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin motor which is capable of churning out the maximum power of 105bhp and peak torque of 86Nm. Slated to pose against the Triumph Street Triple S and RS variants, the KTM 790 Duke is likely to be priced around INR 8.5-9 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Royal Enfield 650 Twins (Continental GT650 and Interceptor 650) Get Price Hiked
The flagship products from Royal Enfield Continental GT650 and the Interceptor 650 witnessed price hike for the first time since its launch in November. The price hike ranging from INR 5,762 to INR 6,483 for all three variants- Standard, Custom and Chrome are applicable from the ongoing month. The retail pricing for the Standard Interceptor now stands at INR 2.56 lakhs while the top-end Continental GT Chrome will make you shell out the maximum of INR 2.92 lakhs.
BS-VI Honda Activa 125 FI Slated to Launch on 11 Sept 2019
Honda Activa 125 is scheduled to launch with updated BS-IV compliant engine and FI technology on Sept 11, 2019. The scooter is expected to carry a price tag in INR 64-68k range while it will be available to choose from six colour options. As compared to the outgoing model, the Activa 125 FI will be an updated iteration in terms of style and incorporated features. The leaked engine specs suggest, scooter to get a 124cc fuel-injected motor which will make out 8.1bhp, decreased power as compared to 8.5bhp of carb variant. The carb variant of the same will continue to go on sale until the more stringent emission norms will hit the country.
Evolet Electric Scooters Launched
Evolet brand that’s all set to sell electric scooters of Rissala Electric Motors in India, has rolled out three products in a row for the category of audience based on their styling. These scooters are named as the Polo, Derby and Pony will be offered with battery options of VRLA and lithium-ion which took the charging time of around 3-4 hours. On the pricing front, the Polo EZ and Classic attract the price sticker of INR 44,449 and INR 54,449 respectively while the Derby EZ and Classic will make you spend INR 46,499 and Rs 59,999, respectively. Last but not least, the EZ and Classic trims of the Polo pony will set you back at the respective amount of INR 39,499 and Rs 49,499.
Okinawa launches all-new Pro Praise at INR 71,990
An all-new scooter offering from the Okinawa scooters has been launched in India. Entitled as the Praise Pro, the scooter is priced at INR 71,990. In its lineup, the scooter will make space in between the scooters like the standard Praise (INR 59,899) and the i-Praise Plus a flagship product (INR 1.15 lakhs). The Pro Praise is powered by a 1kW BLDC motor which draws mechanical power from a detachable 2kWh lithium-ion battery capable of developing 2.5kW of peak power. Get fully charged in 2-3 hours, the battery is claimed to provide a range of 110km with a top speed of 30-35kmph in Eco mode while in the Sports mode it produces the top speed of 60-70kmph with the range standing around 90km. The scooters receive all the premium and trendy features being offered in such range of electric scooters.
