On June 30th, Yamaha took its curtain off from the most needed and awaited update of the FZ FI series. But surprisingly, there was no Fazer at the launch. This created a sense of illusion that will Yamaha either discontinue the bike or continue the existing bike. We have got the answers to such queries as the new Yamaha Fazer has been spotted somewhere in India.
One of the leading automotive website throttlequest.com has published the fresh images of updated Yamaha Fazer on their website which has made everything clear about the future launch of this motorbike. There are chances that it will also boast the same engine which is currently pumping Yamaha FZ Fi series. The engine specs which are most likely to house the ride would be a 149 cc petrol unit which will churn out 13.1 BHP of power along with 12.8 Nm of torque. These figures of the new series have been slashed by a good amount, but that might be just on paper. The introduction of fuel injection in such a bike is a new thing for any manufacturer in India. This would have been done to hike the economy graph without disturbing the performance.
The new Fazer looks better than the current version. It is exactly similar from the rear end to the new FZ FI. The front gets a sharper headlight cowl, attractive curves and cuts with rear view mirrors mounted over it. Once launched, this motorbike will show its presence across the segment. But to know about that, you have to stick over the SAGMart.
