The Yamaha FZ is one of the oldest offerings from Japanese automaker in Indian lineup. Lately, a next-gen test mule of the FZ150 spotted performing test runs on the roads of Bangalore Chennai highway. As compared to the ongoing model, it was more appealing than the current bike with sharper front and an existing rear end.
From the spy images, the new Yamaha FZ150 captured with LED headlamp while the fitments such as the tail lamp and turn indicators were conventional units. The intense fuel tank contains sharp line along with a knee recess and bikini fairing underneath. The rear placed grab rails are new while the tail lamps feature the similar appearance of the current FZ150.

On the suspension front, the front forks were conventional telescopic unit while the rear gets monoshock suspension as appear from the spy images. The chunky alloy wheels which are armed with disc brakes at both ends seems shared from the FZ-25.
The ongoing Yamaha FZ offers to variants to choose-the FZ and FZS. Beneath the fuel tank, the motorcycle is packed with a 149cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that is rated to churn out 13bhp and 12.8Nm of torque through a mated 5-speed gearbox.
