Yamaha has updated its products list by adding the new entry-level scooter- Yamaha NMAX 125. The scooter is slightly smaller in capacity, while dimensions remain the same as the scooter has been positioned in the Premium bucket. The small capacity scooter has been developed to target the urban areas. Whereas, the Blue Core technology and 130 MPG (55.26 KMPL) fuel economy is enough to make it stand out from the crowd. A few months back, the company has launched NMAX 155 scooter in Indonesia, which is powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled engine that slightly produces 15PS of power and 14.4 Nm of torque.
Power comes from the Blue Core and 125cc engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). It is the first scooter of Yamaha, which is featured with four-valve cylinderhead and Variable Valve Actuation that contribute to offering dynamic performance and impressive fuel economy. The four-stroke scooter scores 12 HP of power at 7,500 RPM and 11.7 NM of torque at 7250 RPM.
The Yamaha NMAX 125 becomes one of the lightest scooters from the Yamaha’s line-up that weighs only 127 KG offers an exceptional feel on the road. The scooter is equipped with an anti-lock braking system that will work dynamically with the front 230mm disc and rear disc brake. It gets front and rear LED light, while the fully LCD dashboard adds more charm in its look. The scooter will be sold in four color options; Silver, Red, White and Black.
