After unveiling the images of new retro inspired Yamaha MT-07, the Japanese two-wheeler maker, Yamaha, has revealed the images and a video of its XSR700. It is a retro-styled production version will make its entry in two shades- Forest Green and Garage Metal. The new motorcycle will be commenced for sale from November. The motorcycle follows the property of 'Faster Sons' that also includes XJR1300 Racer and XV950 Racer. The XSR700 is one of the best motorcycles in the Yamaha's space. The retro-styled motorcycle is based on its custom style edition, MT-07, which is designed by Japanese custom-builder Shinya Kimura. Moreover, the Yamaha states that the new XSR700 is also tribute to the old XS650.

On the technical side, the motorcycle houses a 689cc inline-two cylinder engine displacement that returns 74.8 HP and 68 NM of torque. The SXR700 features a 270-degree crank unit which ensures for dynamic acceleration and outstanding traction. Furthermore, the motorcycle has received a plenty of modern characters that reminiscent the old-school days. The two-texture leather seat, round head-bulb and aluminum fuel tank unit give a retro-touch to the motorcycle. The motorcycle has dry weight only 186 KG as it is built on the lightweight frame, which make it a perfect motorcycle for a dynamic ride.
The round speedometer is nicely placed between the wide handlebars, which offers an upright and comfortable sitting position to the riders. The motorcycle has also received a set of disc brakes, whereas Anti-lock Braking System is standard in the motorcycle. Moreover, the combination of stiff chassis and suspensions have been drive from MT-07, that provide excellent ride quality. It has lightweight 10-spoke aluminum wheels which has contributed to the reduce the weight of the motorcycle.
