Yamaha XSR900 Monkeebeast by Wrenchmonkees

The Danish Wrenchmonkees duo breaks the cover of the bike, which they have been involved for a long period and that is with Yamaha's extensive Yard Built XSR900 'Monkeebeast'. This latest creation is based on MT-07 custom scrambler so don't let the 'monkee' name fool you.

The Monkeebeast is a naked middleweight tourer from Yamaha and has been just revealed at the Copenhagen workshop. Perceiving the silhouette, the authentic Wrenchmonkees bike wraps up a black signature paint scheme of the Copenhagen shop. Totally an urban beast, the identical scrambler machine has falsified our assumptions of it being a brat bike or a cafe racer.

"This latest build is brilliant; it shows clearly that their design is constantly moving forward and evolving, ahead of the game,” says Yamaha Motor Europe’s Cristian Barelli. “I'm really happy that they have shown that with some clever modifications, but no cutting or welding to the frame, you can transform the XSR900 into something completely different."

Equipped with fresh 17'' Borrani wheels, the Monkeebeast flaunts truly its beast mode and a perfect aggressive look via the Continental TKC sturdy tyres that can hold any terrain easily. The stock rear suspension has been replaced by the K-Tech shock accompanied by the Grilles Tooling chain adjusters and a TRW rear rotor. Moreover, Magura imparts the handlebar, now aids Nissin radial master and Bitwell Renegade grips as well.

Apart from these, a few other modifications include a petite headlight and an LED taillight. The Wrenchmonkees seat and the Motogadget pushbuttons give the bike a clean sharp look. Other than this, an SC Project exhaust and custom aluminum fenders sum it up to the whole.
