Yamaha has introduced the Moto GP Edition of its existing entry-level sports tourer in its Indian lineup. The bike maker asks for INR 1.3 lakhs (ex-showroom) for this special edition, a premium of INR 5000 over the regular model.
Apart from aesthetic changes received in the form of Moto GP inspired blue livery from the YZR-M1 Moto GP edition. The motorcycle did not get altered at mechanical front. At the skin, the motorcycle is embellished with the logos and stickers across the fairing including the Movistar, the Yamalube logo and the Eneos.
Other than the cosmetics, the motorcycle did not get any new feature on this special edition Yamaha R15 V3.0. Mechanically, it continues to be powered by the same 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. Mated to a six-speed gearbox, the engine is said to generate 18.7bhp and deliver 15 Nm of torque to the rear wheel.
Apart from this special Moto GP inspired blue livery, the R15 V3.0 is available on sale with options of blue/black and red/grey dual tone scheme.
The bookings for the model has been commenced on the brand’s official website. Whereas the deliveries against the bookings will be given in September. Hurry up to grab this special Moto GP edition of the R15 V3.0 as the only 5000 units will be manufactured.
