Canon's PowerShot G7X Digital Camera launched at Photokina with 1 inch CMOS Sensor

Talking about the compact cameras, the Canon has built its own image as a market leader. The company has a wide range of compact cameras available and now recently the firm has announced a successor of the PowerShot G1X Mark II, which is named as PowerShot G7X Digital Camera. For the first time, the manufacturer has introduced a 1 inch 20.2 MP High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor in the newly launched camera, which is incorporated with a DIGIC 6 Imaging processor. This will help to deliver high-quality finest images and video shots with clear and sharp features.

The PowerShot G7X is equipped with an ISO ranges up to 125-12,800 to achieve maximum sensitivity and a bright f/1.8 lens is being installed in order to deliver improved image contrast. The lens is having a range of f/1.8 and goes up to f/2.8 featuring equivalent zoom option, which is capable to shoot stunning images. It creates a shallow depth field and delivers a sharp focus for a softer background. With no giant sized sculpture, the lens is carrying a great aperture value, as it is featuring a nine-blade curved Iris Aperture diaphragm for blurred backgrounds, instead of having full zoom range. The PowerShot G7X can be easily used to click more beautiful images using Bokeh effect, and in order to create more circular blurs additional blades could be added.

The company has improved the camera's ability to capture moving objects up to a great extent, as it is featuring high speed 31 autofocus points, which is incorporated with 6.5 frames per second. This feature helps to capture clear images even of moving objects with clear resolution.

The main attraction of this compact camera is that you can take various shots with multiple angles with the help of three-inch LCD touch screen carrying a screen resolution of 1,040 K. The LCD screen can be folded up to 180 degree. To capture high quality videos, the manufacturer has given manual and automatic focus option with a dial control ring, settings over the touch panel and a playback option on an HDTV.

The PowerShot G7X compact camera supports two formats, manual exposure control and the user's choice, such as JPEG, RAW or JPEG+RAW. The digital camera has been unveiled at the Photokina festival and the Indian Canon website has been displaying INR 44,995 price tag for this particular.
