Panasonic this time, made an overwhelming entry at Photokina 2016 held in Cologne, Germany by launching it's all new three ravishing cameras. The first one we are talking about is Lumix FZ2500, which is an upgraded model of FZ1000 and will get its shipping started from November priced at USD 1199.99 (Rs 83,999 approx). The second in the list is Lumix LX10, blessed with a compact size and 1-inch sensor. The delivery of Lumix LX10 will also get a start at the same time priced at USD 699 (Rs 48,930 approx). Last but not the least, there is Lumix G85, a rugged interchangeable lens mirrorless camera with 5-axis stabilization. The Lumix G85 camera will be available at USD 899 (Rs 62,930 approx) for just body and USD 999 (Rs 69,930 approx) with 12-60mm lens kit.
Talking about the Lumix FZ2500, the camera is blessed with 20X optical zoom, aperture of f/2.8-4.5, variable ND filters and a 1-inch 20.1-megapixel sensor. One of the key features which makes it the successor of the previous model is the availability of 4K video recording. It captures raw pictures, burst shooting up to 12fps and is fueled with an OLED EVF with a 2.3 million dot resolution. Other attractive features will include a 3-inch touchscreen LCD, Wi-Fi connectivity, and professional-grade V-logoL video recording.
Secondly, there comes Lumix LX10, a premium compact sized camera, which shares a little similar design language with Sony’s RX100 series. The camera comes with maximum ISO sensitivity of 12,800 10fps burst shooting, f/1.4-2.8 aperture and a boast of 1-inch MOS sensor. Lumix LX10 is blessed with a 20.1-megapixel sensor capable of recording 4K video at 30fps. The camera also bears 180-degree tiltable, 3-inch LCD display but no EVF hence the user will have to rely completely on the rear screen for all of its framing needs. Support of Charging via USB, built-in-Wi-fi, and shooting in raw is also provided by the company.
Lastly, Lumix G85, it boasts of a 5-axis dual image stabilization system, along with OIS and BIS(Body Image Stabiliser) for providing best stabilization performance while shooting. The camera is packed in a splash and dust-proof rugged body. It features a 16-megapixel sensor, fully articulating touchscreen LCD, Wi-Fi, and an OLED EVF.
A glance at the company’s upcoming Lumix GH5 camera had also been teased, which is supposed to be the world’s first interchangeable lens mirrorless camera capable of shooting 4K videos at 60fps. The camera is also capable of shooting ‘6K photos’. Full specifications of the upcoming camera are yet to unveil.
