Sony Alpha A5100, Mirrorless Camera Rolled Out with Interchangeable Lens

Sony has rolled out a new mirrorless camera, Alpha a5100 which is a kind of replacement of NEX-5T. This new camera becomes the curtain for this NEX line. The counterpart of the NEX-5T with low-cost, is almost identical as a6000 but compact in size. A quite light-weight device with interchangeable lens and autofocus feature, this device is meant for capturing quality images with Fast Hybrid AF system.

Alpha A5100 is also bundled with 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 power-zoom lens which costs $700 along with camera body. The body alone is priced at $550. The speedy camera which can possess the focus in just 0.7 seconds using Hybrid AF system. It has taken the 24.3 MP APS-C sensor that offers the aspect ratio of 3:2. This APS C format gives the lens benefit of forming images using smaller area.

BIONZ X processor is used in this image capturing device to enhance the processing capability to give the real time view in miraculous still images and videos. Its interchangeable lenses make it a portable and compact device. You can also call it a budget avatar of A6000. The absence of viewfinder may disappoint some photography enthusiasts. HD resolution and 3 inch LCD screen are some other impressive features of this camera.

Photography enthusiasts can grab Sony Alpha A5100 next month when the product will be reached in market. To add the feature of selfie, its LCD can flip upto 180 degree. This mirrorless camera has a zoom lever on top of its body to make the device handy to operate. Alpha 5100, by default comes with Wi-Fi support. Through which, you can transfer images quickly by connecting NFC compatible smartphones with camera.

It will be available in black and white colors. Customers will be able to get the camera body alone or can also choose the complete kit (with 16-50mm motorized zoom lens) in September.
