Microsoft, world's biggest tech giant announces a new Tablet which can take over your laptop. Introducing the all new Surface Pro 3, world's first "thinnest PC" with 9.1 mm (0.36 inch). The new model features a 12 inch touch screen which is bigger than its predecessor and weighs only 798 Grams. It acquires Intel's faster and higher-end Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 Processors.
Panos Panay at Microsoft says "This is the tablet that can replace your laptop." According to the release news being the thinnest PC, this device is 10 percent faster than the Surface Pro 2 with windows 8.
Microsoft Executives, in New York City, says that this device has its own finest features which can hold opposing Apple's iPad and Macbook Air laptop, as it acquires faster speed and higher resolution display. The Pro 3 can be used along with a keyboard that can give you a feel of laptop or can use a special pen for input.
In August 2014, Surface Pro 3 will also be available on sale for Australian Customers for a $979 model with Intel Core i3 Processor.
About Surface Pro 3, the device will be coming in 5 configurations starting from $799 and will be available in United States this week. The highest configuration provides you 512 Giga byte hard drive with a faster Intel Core i7 Processor which ranges approx $2000.
Surface is an important part of CEO's Mobile-focused Strategy. Now he is focusing on bringing up Microsoft's services to an extent specifications as he belongs from software and networking background.
At the NEW YORK Event, CEO Satya Nadella says, "We are not building hardware for hardware's sake, We're not interested in competing with our OEMs [original equipment manufacturers] when it comes to our hardware."
