Acer Aspire R 11: Affordable 2-in 1 Notebook with Exciting Facets

Coming to specifications, this newly-announced machine features an 11.6-inch touch screen decked with Zero Air Gap technology and protected by durable Corning Gorilla Glass. Here, its display has been claimed to render a pixel resolution of 1366 x 768p for crisp and clear viewing-experience. The most highlighted part of this successor of Aspire-series is its 360-degree dual-torque hinge, which allows fluid switching between four modes: Notebook, Display, Tent and Pad.

Running on Windows 8.1, device is power packed with Intel Pentium processor that gives it fanless designing as well as makes it fast, light-weighted and efficient. Aspire R 11 is integrated with Intel HD graphics and houses Acer Crystal Eye HD webcam. Notably, gadget will be commenced in various configurations, where it will come with upto 8GB of RAM and upto 1TB hard drive. However, the actual size of tool's battery has not been mentioned yet, but it has been boasted to deliver 8 hours of battery life.

The other selling points of laptop, Acer proprietary TrueHarmony audio technology to deliver delivers lifelike sound quality and BluelightShield technology that reduces blue light emission from screen to lessen the eye strain. Moreover, it is incorporated with USB 3.0, USB 2.0, full sized HDMI, VGA ports and offers WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.

As per Acer, "Aspire R 11 will be available in North America in July with prices starting at $249, in EMEA in June with prices starting at €349 and in China in June with prices starting at ¥2,799." As the matter of fact, corporation has competitively priced its novel invention, where upcoming premium-looking: Asus Chromebook Flip seems as its biggest rival.
