Alcatel, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm, on Thursday, unveiled its brand new A3 10 tablet in India with a price tag of Rs 9,999. The new offering by the company will be available via Flipkart from today in Volcano Black colour. According to the company, the A3 10 tablet has been introduced to provide a “premium experience to the affordable smart device market.”
The Alcatel A3 10 is blessed with a 10.1-inch IPS display, which comes with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels and is also considered as the biggest highlight of it. Moreover, it features a textured back cover for better gripping and also supports 4G LTE connectivity along with voice calling. The tablet also features dual speakers for enhanced multimedia experience.
Moving further, the device is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It is backed up by a massive 4600mAh battery and runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS. In term of optics, the 465 grams weighing tablet packs a 5-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
Praveen Valecha, Regional Director, Alcatel India, while commenting on the launch of the Alcatel A3 10 said, “The new A3 10 was designed to provide our users with a completely immersive experience. The tablet comes with an array of features that are unprecedented at this price and shall change the shape of this segment entirely.”
