Asus Made Comeback with EeeBook X205, The 199 Dollar Laptop

It’s been a while when Asus brought its first Eee PC in 2007 but later it cut the roots and stop this series moved into the premium device manufacturing. But after 7 years, Company has made a comeback with the hope of expanding its Eee series, presenting thinner, portable and light weighed laptop at very low price of $199. Asus EeeBook X205, this is the name which has been showcased at the IFA event along with Zenbook UX305 which is a Windows 8.1 laptop.

Asus EeeBook X205 is very light weighed with 980 grams and coupled with quad-core Intel Atom T3735 Bay Trail processor and 2GB of RAM to boast the performance with fast speed. Featuring a 11.6 inch screen with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution, it is a superb device to use. It comes incorporated with a microSDXC slot, VGA webcam and a micro-HDMI socket. It will come with three color options- black, white, gold and red. With a promise of delivering upto 12 hours of web browsing time, this laptop is carvbed with 38Wh battery.

EeeBook X205 comes in 32GB or 64GB internal storage variants. It also comes bundled with 15GB of Microsoft OneDrive’s cloud storage space and 100GB of Microsoft OneDrive and 500GB of ASUS WebStorage. There is no information regarding the release of this laptop but it is expected that it will reach in stores to buy in Fourth quarter of this year.
