Asus ZenPad 7 and ZenPad 8 Tablets to Debut at Computex 2015

After launching ZenBook Pro UX501 decked with 4K display and feature-rich smartphone: Zenfone 2, now Asus is reportedly working on the segment of tablets, where it will bring two devices: ZenPad 7 and ZenPad 8. According to an Italian site: Notebookitalia.it, the CEO of this Taiwan based company: Jerry Shen stated recently that they will present a range of ZenPad at Computex 2015 Trade Show, which is going to be held in Taipei, Taiwan from the 1st of June.

As per report, Asus ZenPad 7 will be launched in two models, where first version will be Wi-Fi-only and appended with a Model Number: Z170C, while second edition will be a 3G-enabled and claimed to be enclosed with a Model Number: Z170CG. Hashing about the specifications, both variants are likely to feature 7-inch IPS displays with pixel resolutions of 1024 x 600p and they will house 1.4 GHz 64-bit Intel Atom x3 chipset.

Memory-wise, tablets will comprise 1GB RAM and speculated to come in two internal storage models: 8GB and 16GB, which will be expandable upto 64GB by using a microSD card. Rest of the specs include, 2-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front shooter, 3,950mAh battery and Android 5.0 lollipop OS. Moreover, ZenPad 7 (Z170C) and (Z170CG) might hit the marketplace in July with price tags of EUR 139 and EUR 159 respectively.

Coming to ZenPad 8, this yet-to-be announced gadget has been certified by FCC, whereby some of the aspects of tablet have come into view. The FCC database suggests that it will carry a Model Number: P01M and will bear 8-inch display with 2048×1536 pixel resolution. The inclusion of 2GB RAM and inbuilt storage options among 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB has also been mentioned in report.

Furthermore, Asus ZenPad 8 may pack Intel Atom Z3560 or Z3530 processor in its shell. Well, pricing and availability details of tab are still unknown, so we will have to wait till June 1, where both the creations of corporation are expected to see light of the day.
