Asus ZenPad Z10 Tablet With 4G LTE Support Launched in India

Asus has unveiled its 4G LTE supported new ZenPad Z10 tablet, which will be exclusively available in the country via telecom carrier Verizon priced starting from USD 229.99 (Rs 15,400 approx). The Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) running tablet will be available at all Verizon stores from October 13. The company has not revealed any details about launching it in other countries.

The handset features a 9.7-inch QXGA IPS display of resolution 2048X1536 pixels. It is powered by a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC paired with Adreno 510 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Apart from this the tablet also packs an 8-megapixel rear camera with a 5-megapixel front shooter.

The Asus ZenPad Z10 is blessed with 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. Backed up by a massive 7800mAh battery, the tablet comes with dual stereo speakers for an awesome sound experience. Connectivity options on the board include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 4.1, and USB Type-C. It is available in only Slate Grey color variant.

Benson Lin, Asus Corporate Vice President, and General Manager for Mobile communications quoted in a note by Verizon, “Asus is excited to launch the ZenPad Z10, further expanding our relationship and product offerings with Verizon. The Asus ZenPad Z10 brings a premium and powerful tablet experience at a great price.”

According to the company, Asus Visual Master technology in the tablet is capable of optimizing sharpness, contrast, and motion clarity depending upon the condition. A source from the company stated, “automatically chooses the best settings for movie, gaming, and outdoor scenarios.”
