Google is ready to unveil its new Android based TV in the league of other such TVs. Google has decided to introduce set-top box which is based on Android platform. The company is making its debut in the Android TV just after Amazon has launched Fire TV.
This Google's Android TV looks like Apple TV and ready to give the competition to Apple TV and Amazon's Fire TV. This device is completely an entertainment device, not a computer platform. The Verge reported about the Google's document which tells that product is "about to launch" not any other information is out about "when it will launch".
The Set-top box of Google is powered with Android platform and will come with the option of scrolling the list for apps, movies, shows and games which will be instituted on shelf. The Verge also reported, "You use a remote control with a four-way directional pad to scroll left and right through different suggestions, or up and down through different categories of content, each with their own shelves. Much like on other set-top boxes, each item will be like a miniature movie poster or book cover, and you'll pick the one you want."
This blog also showed its screenshot which displays Movies and TV section, game section and apps section. The Google TV will work on voice command to watch any content. The whole procedure will need only three steps and will reach you to the watching content from Home screen.
