The tech giant has made the world surprise by announcing 8 new tablets which are designed to meet with today’s demand of portability and advancement. The Company has brought ElitePad 1000 G2 Healthcare and Rugged Tablets, Pro Slate 10 EE & Pro Tablet 10 EE, and Pro Slate 12, Pro Slate 8 and Pro Tablet 408 G1. In all these devices, you can see the perfect sleek, portable, detachable, and convertible designs for enterprise or business level users.
Here we are putting some lights on ElitePad 1000 G2 Healthcare and Rugged Tablets which are designed for specific work environment. Both tablets almost identical in specs, except few things which make them specific to their work and nature. ElitePad 1000 G2 flaunts 10.1-inch screen (1,920 x 1,200 pixels resolution) with Gorilla Glass 3 coating. It comes with digitizer also that gives this device a new definition.
Both run on Windows 8.1 OS which is based on 64bit CPU architecture. Both tablets are powered by the same Intel Atom Z3795 quad-core processor which is coupled with 4GB RAM and Intel’s HD graphics to enhance the performance. You can get 128GB built-in storage and smartcard reader slot. HP ElitePad 1000 G2 Rugged Tablet is weighed 1.45kg and measures 285.5 x 33 x 215mm while the ElitePad 1000 G2 Healthcare tablet weighs 1.1kg and measures 278 x 20 x 207.5mm. The Rugged tablet as its name implies is made for durability and IP65 rating is doing its job nicely with this device. On the other side, the Healthcare Tablet comes with IP54 certifications and can do the medical related tasks like read and scan personnel, patient, and medication information.
One more tablet presented at the same event named Pro Tablet 408 G1. HP ElitePad 1000 G2 Healthcare is priced at $1499 while the HP ElitePad 1000 G2 Rugged is priced at $1599 and will hit market in February.
