HP Enlightening Its Omen Series With New Desktop and Laptops

HP, the tech gigantic firm has just expanded its line of gaming portfolio. It has unveiled the two laptops, one Quad HD monitor and another one is the desktop. All the products are launched under its brand Omen, HP's umbrella for all of its game-centric devices.

The company has brought two Omen laptops on the basis of their size i.e 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch display. The smaller variant is priced at $899.99 while the larger one packs at $979.99. The newly launched laptops offer up to sixth-generation Intel Core i7 processors, Nvidia GeForce GTX965M graphics, 16GB of RAM. For the storage, it bears up to 4TB of HDD or 128GB of SSHD storage. The company hints that the laptops will hit the market by July 10.

On the other hand, the company has also launched Omen desktop. The top end Omen desktop bears an 32-inch Quad HD monitor that will be launched sometime in August. The desktop will include the Intel Core i7-6700k processor coupled with 32GB, a 512GB SSD and a 3TB standard hard drive. The new desktop will be available in different options between Nvidia's new GeForce GTX 1080 Founder Edition card, and AMD's Radeon R9 390X.

The company promises that all of its new Omen products are VR ready. It also promises that its new HP Omen Quad HD monitor have a 5-millisecond response time and a 75Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, the company has not revealed the pricing details of the desktop.

The company officially announced that all of its product have the HP-owned VooDooPC branding. The laptops will be available with a 'Dragon Red' backlit keyboards. Initially, the HP launched its first Omen series laptop in 2014by targeting the gamers. The laptop touched the markets in India in May 2015 with a price tag of Rs. 1,59,990.
