HP unveiled Sprout Pro Model of it's Personal Computer segment which is the extended version of it's Desktop platform introduced in 2014. The new release has the extensive focus to change the way we learn or create the things for businesses. The Company has incorporated the changes keeping education and Enterprises in the centre.
Sprout is a Computer having a Pojector, 3-D Scanner, Touch-screen and 3-D camera in one Device, so one can say that by incorporating all these functions together HP has aimed to change the way we interact with the Computers. The introduction of the Horizontal 3-D Scanning Mat and and 3-D glasses have replaced the Keyboard and the Mouse from the Sprout Pro version.
Louis kim, Global Head and Genearl Manager of Immersive Computers at HP said that "Sprout Pro adds tools for creative professionals, students and instructors to the ground breaking Sprout platform. Instant 2D/3D scanning, augmented reality and an immersive dual screen is now boosted by pro-class applications and security accelerating workflows and safeguarding data. Sprout Pro is another milestone in expanding HP's vision of Blended Reality”.
Sprout Pro has already been tested in more than 60 leading schools. And the buzz created by HP has already attracted many corporate, healthcare, retail and manufacturing sectors and they have shown great interest in the Pro version. Additionally, big brands like Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Nvidia are said to be working on ways to incorporate their own technologies and services into the Sprout Pro platform.

The blend of real and virtual world with the help of 3-D Printer is likely to change the approach of Education in the near future. HP suggested that with HP Sprout Pro "students get a hands-on learning experience so they can take ideas from thought to expression like never before.” Also, Sprout can help change what has always been a “one-size-fits-all curriculum". From a technical perspective, the Sprout Pro includes a 23.6-inch Zyr monitor, Intel’s latest Corei7 processor, a Nvidia GeForce GT 945A graphics set, 1 TB of storage, 8GB (upgradable to 16GB) RAM, 2 USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The price of the HP Sprout Pro is expected to be around $2199 and likely to hit the market in February.
