Huawei has come out and secretively unwrapped its tablet for the Malaysian market on Saturday. The metal laden tablet is named Honor Tablet which is priced at RM 599 (roughly Rs. 11,200). Malaysian people can preorder the device that is available on company’s online store. However, the mobile giant is tight-lipped on the global availability of this tablet.
Huawei Honor Tablet comes featured with voice calling option and has 8-inch IPS display, offering good screen output with 1280x800 pixels. Although, the device runs on dated Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but the essence of Emotion UI 1.6 on top makes it the impressive one to use with ease.
Qualcomm make quad-core MSM8212 processor powers the tablet at 1.2GHz clock speed. To meet with the imaging purpose, there is a 5-megapixel snapper crafted beautifully on the rear side and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter is also paired in the gadget. The Honor Tablet gets 16GB of onboard storage along with the option of microSD card slot to store upto 32GB data.
On the connectivity front, it gets Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS and 3G options. 210.6x127.7x7.9mm dimension and 360 grams weight make it a honky-dory device to carry in a bag. The 4800mAh battery is engraved in device to fulfill the promise of delivering upto 300 hours of standby time.
Just a week earlier, the Company had brought Honor 4 Play smartphone with Android 4.4 KitKat support which is a low-price device powered by 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor.
