Huawei, the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm, after launching its MediaPad M3 Lite 10 tablet, now has come up with its brand new MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 tablet. The company has only introduced for the home market, but still, the pricing and availability details are yet to be unveiled.
Just like MediaPad M3 Lite 10, the new offering by the company also features Harman Kardon tuned speakers and is being marketed as an entertainment device. The launching event was first covered by online publication Helpix, and according to its reports the company has also provided LTE and Wi-Fi versions of the tablet in the market.
In term of specifications, the new MediaPad M3 Lite tablet features an 8-inch full-HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 (MSM8940) processor and will be available in two RAM and storage combinations: 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
The optical part of the MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 includes two 8-megapixel sensors- one at the front and one at the rear side. It is backed up by a 4800mAh battery and packs 4G LTE support as well. Moreover, the new tablet in the city also includes additional features such as View to Multitask, which offers split-screen multitasking; Control at the touch, for gesture-based functions; Kid's Nook, comes preloaded with some kids-specific apps; Baby your eyes, for the reading mode.
