Huawei, Chinese Electronics and Telecommunications updated its MateBook D series and comes up with the latest processors and GPU. It is titled as Huawei MateBook D (2018). The new MateBook D series (2018) runs on Windows 10 and equipped with 8th generation Intel Core processors and an improved GPU. Apart from MateBook 2018, earlier this year MateBook X and MateBook E had also been launched by the Huawei.
The new Huawei MateBook (2018) will sport a metal unibody design, 15.6-inch full-HD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, 83 percent screen-to-body ratio and 350 nits brightness. The features of new Huawei MateBook (2018) Series is similar that we have seen in 2017 Models. It is powered by a latest 8th generation of Intel Core i5, i7 processors and a new dedicated Nvidia GeForce MX150.

It is available in three variants – Intel Core i5- 8250U processor, featuring Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD storage and can be availed at CNY 5,188 (approximately Rs. 50,900). The another variant, Intel Core i5-8250U chipset processor featuring - 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD, Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU and is priced at CNY 5,488 (approximately Rs. 53,900). The top variant in the MateBook (2018) comes up with specifications- Intel Core i7-8550U processor, 8GB memory, 128GB SSD + 1TB, Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics card and priced at of CNY 6,688 (approximately Rs. 65,700).
The new laptop packs a 43.3Wh battery and the company claims that it can provide a battery life up to 10 hours with a single charge. The new laptop equipped with Dolby panoramic speaker system, two USB USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, dual-antenna design for WiFi. and an HDMI port. It runs on Windows 10 operating system.
