A domestic tech company iBall has unwrapped two tablet PCs which run on Windows 8.1 platform, dubbed iBall Slide WQ149i and iBall Slide WQ149R. These are 2-in-1 devices that are selling at the price of Rs. 18,499 and Rs. 19,999 respectively.
Both tablets share almost identical specs except the connectivity option. On one side, the Slide WQ149i offers Wi-Fi connectivity while the Slide WQ149R on other side offers 3G connectivity. However, both are 3G capable with the help of Ultra Stick 3G slot which is needed to be bought separately.
Both iBall Slide WQ149i and Slide WQ149R flaunt a 10.1-inch IPS display which is capable in offering WXGA (1280x800 pixels) screen resolution. The wide displays of both tablets are enough to meet with the PC experience. You can change it in a tablet whenever you want and can use as a laptop depending on the requirements.
Intel’s Atom processor helps users by powering the devices, clocking at 1.83GHz. A 2GB RAM is also there to broaden the multitasking experience with smoothness. iBall Slide WQ149i and Slide WQ149R bear a 5-megapixel snapper on rear panel and a 2-megapixel imager on front end. To provide enough room for data saving, company has provided 32GB built-in storage. There is no information regarding the microSD card slot for expandable storage.
iBall has granted Microsoft Office 365 license to solve business needs by offering 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage. Both hybrid tablets come bundled with pogo pin keyboard. The Slide WQ149i comes with soft cased detachable keyboard while the Slide WQ149R can be purchased with hard cased detachable keyboard. Earlier in February, iBall had brought a tablet in the same series, named Slide Brace X1 which is an Android KitKat powered tablet, available to buy at the price tag of Rs. 17,690 on Amazon India.
