Lava Launched X80 Tablet With 8-Inch Display For INR 9,999

Just after the launching of Lava X81 smartphone, the domestic smartphone maker has planned to expand its tablet portfolio. The company has unveiled new tablet dubbed as X80 and is priced at Rs. 9,999. It is available across retail outlets in India.

Lava touted the device as a “next-generation experience”. The GSM based tablet sports 3G voice calling via earphones and speaker. It flaunts an 8-inch IPS OGS display having a resolution of 1280*800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom 'Baytrail' processor (boosts up to 1.8GHz) paired with 1GB of RAM.

At the photography section, the new Lava tablet is loaded with a 5-megapixel camera at the rear end with autofocus and supports video recording. On the other end, it bears a 3.2-megapixel front facing camera. The device runs on outdated Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

As for the connectivity, the tablet includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB 2.0 options. It bears a 16GB of inbuilt storage, that can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion. The gadget is available in Black and White color variants and is backed by a 4200mAh battery.

Dimensionally, it is measuring a 215.5x125x9.0mm and weighs 320 grams. Additionally, Lava gives one year warranty with the device, along with six months warranty for in-box accessories.
