After adding a bevy of new devices in Yoga series, now Lenovo has pulled the curtains from its brand-new product, called Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows to disseminate this lineup. This Windows 8.1 based tablet has been announced to allure the consumers that desire a bigger screen to enjoy latest technology and apps with Windows platform.
Talking about the gadget, that has a bulging cylindrical edge, which makes it similar to recently launched 8-inch and 10-inch Yoga Tablet 2. It bears a 13-inch IPS display that renders a pixel resolution of 2560 x 1440p. The gadget can also be paired with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard and comes with a kickstand, which can rotate up to 180 degrees to offer few angles such as hold, stand, tilt and hang.
In front of memory, it incorporates 4GB RAM along with 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card to provide total storage of 128GB. The handheld confers a front-facing camera of 1.6-megapixel, but the unavailability of a rear snapper might make gloomy to its prospective buyers. On the connectivity front, it assimilates Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.0 options.
Just like the iconic Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, this newly announced device is also powered by a 1.86GHz Intel Atom Z3745 processor. But, it is fueled by a more powerful battery of 12,800mAh, which renders 15 hours of life. As per Lenovo, the tablet will be available to buy with a keyboard cover alongside 1-month trial of Microsoft Office 365 at $699. Along with a dimension of 324.1 x 221 x 3.7-14 mm, Yoga Tablet 2 might hit the retail stores by November.
