Lenovo Unveils Two New Gaming Desktop PCs Featuring Windows 10

Lenovo - the Chinese multinational company has now come up with two gaming desktops at Gamescom in Cologne. Both the desktops have been named as IdeaCentre Y710 Cube and IdeaCentre Y910 AIO  (all-in-one) desktop PC. The former has been priced at USD 1,299 (nearly Rs 86,900) while the latter has been quoted for USD 1,799 (approximately Rs 1,20,400). The desktop PC's are likely to get available from the coming October of this year itself.

In terms of common specifications, both the gaming desktops operate on Windows 10 OS and sports a red and black design. The company also claims that the devices are full 'VR compatible' allowing the users interest in them to grow manifold times. Other than that, IdeaCentre Y710 Cube comes equipped with an XBox One wireless controller and is supported by a built-in handle. Under the case, it gets powered by a Sixth-Generation Intel Core i7 processor and houses a Nvidia's GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card.

The desktop offers 32GB of DDR4 RAM along with a hybrid storage system of a 2TB HDD and a 256GB SSD. It gives an additional support for 4K gaming, and high-quality streaming as well. As far as connectivity options are concerned, the Y710 Cube desktop sports one HDMI and VGA port, three USB 3.0 ports, and one USB 2.0 port.

The Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO Y910 AIO (all-in-one) PC is (as stated above) a bit more expensive than its sibling. The desktop sports a 27-inch Quad-HD display that gives an astounding resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. Rest all specifications are same as showcased in IdeaCentre Y710 Cube desktop. One must note that these prices and even some specifications are of those variants that come with the GeForce GTX 1070 GPU. It is also important to state that price of the devices with the highest specs is still unknown and the company has not yet divulged information on the fact as to when it plans to unveil the new desktops in the Indian market.

However, not much time has passed since Lenovo launched the Lenovo Yoga 710 laptop in India - another Yoga series convertible laptop and priced it at Rs 85,490. It came featured with a 14-inch full-HD display that came with rotation ability of up to 180-degrees to easily transform it into a tablet.

Under the hood, the laptop is powered by a Sixth-Generation Intel Core i7-6500U processor and comes with an 8GB of 2133MHz DDR4 RAM alongside a discrete Nvidia GeForce 940M GPU It also offered 2GB of DDR3 video memory, a 256GB SSD and carried a weight of 1.55kg. As per what is claimed by the company, the laptop sports a decent 4-cell 53WHr battery that can give a battery life of nearly 8 hours at a stretch.
