Every time Lenovo comes with some more innovative creations. What we have now to taste in the series of tablets? There are a couple of devices which are taking shape in the electronic gadgets market. Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 in 2 size variants are ready to serve by the Chinese manufacturer with the option of two operating systems. First is Android and the second is Windows.
The Chinese Juggernaut has unveiled 8 inch and 10 inch Yoga Tablet 2 with option of Android 4.4 KitKat and Windows 8.1 OS. Both size variants share the same specification list, except the size. The 8 inch and 10 inch Yoga Tablet 2 offer the same 1900x1200 pixels screen resolution. The display comes with 10 point multitouch and also has 178 degrees wide view angles.
The new in the line of Yoga tablets, this is also interlaced with a kickstand, featuring Hold, Tilt, Stand and Hang mode, this tablet has the capability to rotate upto 180 degrees. This tablet is ready to land with Intel Atom processor Z3745 that can boost upto 1.86GHz and 2MB cache. It uses 2GB RAM to make the multitasking smooth.
The difference in the Android KitKat powered device and the Windows 8.1 powered device is the storage option. The Android based Yoga Tablet 2 is coupled with 16GB built-in memory while the Windows based tablet doubles the memory with 32GB inbuilt storage. Both support microSD card to expand the storage upto 64GB. For all the shutterbugs, here is an 8MP rear snapper with auto-focus and f/2.2 aperture along with 1.6MP front-facing camera.
It comes paired with front-facing speakers, microUSB, Wi-Fi, a micro SIM and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also comes with 4G connectivity. The 10 inch model has an HDMI Port and a Bluetooth AccuType keyboard as a cover.
The Android running Yoga Tablet 2 costs $249 for 8 inch model and the 10 inch model will be available at the price of $299. On the other side, the Windows powered 8 inch Yoga tablet 2 is priced at $299 and the bigger one will cost $399.
